The Problem With Centralised Escrow
Centralised escrow — where one party holds all funds — is the classic exit-scam vector. TorZon eliminated this risk by deploying 2-of-3 multi-signature escrow on both XMR and BTC transactions. No single party, including TorZon itself, can unilaterally move funds.
How 2-of-3 Multi-Sig Works
Three keys exist per order: buyer, vendor, and TorZon. Any two must sign a transaction for funds to move. In normal flow, buyer finalises (signs), vendor counter-signs, funds release. TorZon's key is never needed. If a dispute arises, TorZon reviews evidence and uses its key only to resolve the disagreement — either releasing to vendor or refunding to buyer.
Finalize Early Risk
Finalize Early (FE) bypasses escrow protection. TorZon permits FE only for Platinum-tier vendors with 500+ completed transactions and a 99%+ rating. Never FE with standard vendors regardless of their persuasion attempts. The escrow is your only financial guarantee — do not waive it voluntarily. For full platform details see our market overview.
