Market Access & Registration
TorZon Market is a multi-vendor anonymous marketplace operating exclusively on the Tor network. It is accessible only via V3 .onion addresses and processes transactions in Monero (XMR) and Bitcoin (BTC) through a 2-of-3 multi-signature escrow system. This is an informational resource about the market — all content is provided for educational purposes only.
Step 1: Download Tor Browser from torproject.org and verify its signature. Step 2: Optionally, boot into Tails OS from a USB drive. Step 3: Copy a verified TorZon onion address from our access page — these are checked against PGP-signed official announcements. Step 4: Paste the address into Tor Browser's address bar. Never use a regular browser or follow links from unverified sources.
The current verified TorZon V3 onion addresses are published on our access page. Three mirror addresses are available. All are verified against the official TorZon PGP key. If one is unreachable due to DDoS attack, try the next mirror. Never trust links from sources other than this page or PGP-signed official announcements.
Buyer accounts on TorZon are free to create. No email address, phone number, or identity verification is required — only a username and password. Vendor accounts require a bond payment (typically XMR) to filter out low-quality sellers. The bond amount is announced on the official market.
No. A VPN alone does not provide the same anonymity as Tor. The VPN provider can see your traffic and is subject to legal requests for logs. The Tor Project does not recommend using a VPN with Tor in most cases, as it can reduce anonymity by introducing a trusted third party. Use Tor Browser alone — or better, Tails OS with Tor — for darknet market access.
Cryptocurrency & Payments
No — both XMR and BTC are accepted. However, XMR is strongly recommended because it provides privacy by default: ring signatures obscure the sender, stealth addresses hide the receiver, and RingCT conceals transaction amounts. Bitcoin is pseudonymous — transactions are traceable by blockchain analysis firms without additional privacy measures.
Options include: Haveno (decentralised P2P exchange, Tor-native), LocalMonero (peer-to-peer trades), TradeOgre (no KYC exchange accepting BTC), or peer-to-peer cash trades. Avoid centralised exchanges like Coinbase or Binance that require government ID verification. See our detailed XMR guide for step-by-step instructions.
TorZon uses 2-of-3 multi-signature escrow. When a buyer places an order, funds are locked in a multi-sig wallet requiring 2 of 3 parties to release: buyer, vendor, and TorZon. In normal transactions, buyer and vendor both sign to release. If a dispute arises, TorZon reviews evidence and its key determines the outcome. No single party can steal funds unilaterally.
Monero deposits to TorZon wallets require 10 confirmations before funds are spendable — this takes approximately 20 minutes. This is a Monero protocol requirement for ring signature validity, not a market-specific policy. Plan your deposit timing accordingly before placing time-sensitive orders.
For Monero: Feather Wallet (lightweight, built-in Tor routing, recommended) or the official Monero GUI (full node, trustless). For Bitcoin: Sparrow Wallet (CoinJoin integration, coin control, Tor support). Never use exchange-provided wallets or custodial services — you must control your own keys.
Security & OPSEC
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is an encryption standard using public/private key pairs. On TorZon, it serves two purposes: (1) Two-factor authentication — logging in requires signing a challenge with your private key, protecting your account even if your password is compromised. (2) Encrypted communication — encrypting messages to vendors ensures only they can read them. Both uses are strongly recommended.
Yes — Tails OS is strongly recommended for all darknet market activity. It boots from USB, leaves no trace on the host machine after shutdown, routes all traffic through Tor automatically, and includes security tools pre-configured. Download from tails.boum.org and verify the signature before creating your USB drive.
Reusing usernames across clearnet and darknet platforms; shipping to home addresses; using KYC exchange BTC without privacy measures; unencrypted vendor communications; discussing purchases on unencrypted apps; accessing market from work/school networks; leaving active sessions open; taking screenshots on non-encrypted devices. See our full OPSEC guide.
Only use onion links from our verified access page, which is cross-referenced against PGP-signed official announcements. Enable PGP 2FA on your account. Never search for .onion links in clearnet search engines. Verify the full 56-character onion address character by character before logging in. See our full anti-phishing guide.
Harm Reduction
Use reagent test kits — different reagents identify different substances: Marquis (MDMA, amphetamines, opiates), Mecke (MDMA, DXM, opiates), Simon's (secondary amines), Ehrlich (psychedelics/indoles). Fentanyl test strips should be used for ALL substances given widespread contamination. Kits are available from DanceSafe and other harm reduction organisations. See our harm reduction guide.
Call emergency services immediately (999/911/112). Opioid overdose: administer naloxone (Narcan) — available free at harm reduction centres and pharmacies. Place the person in recovery position if breathing. Begin rescue breathing if trained. Stay with them. Stimulant overdose: cool them down, loosen clothing, call emergency services, stay with them. Never leave an overdosing person alone. Good Samaritan laws protect callers in many jurisdictions.
Naloxone (Narcan) is available: US — free from harm reduction programmes, free/low-cost at many pharmacies without prescription in most states; UK — free via NHS and drug services; most EU countries — through harm reduction centres. NEXT Distro and similar organisations offer mail delivery in the US. DanceSafe and The Loop can direct you to local resources internationally.
Market Operations
Do not finalise the order. Navigate to your order in TorZon and open a dispute before the auto-finalization timer expires (typically 14 days from dispatch). Provide evidence (photos where applicable, communication screenshots). TorZon's dispute team typically responds within 72 hours. The 2-of-3 escrow ensures funds cannot be released to the vendor without your agreement or TorZon's arbitration ruling.
Domestic (within same country): typically 2–5 business days depending on shipping method chosen by vendor. International: 7–21 days, subject to customs and shipping method. Expected timeframes are listed on each vendor's listings. Always check vendor-stated shipping times before ordering.
Finalize Early means releasing escrow funds to the vendor before you've received and verified your order. This is high-risk. On TorZon, FE is only available to vendors who have reached Platinum tier status (high transaction count, excellent ratings, low dispute history). For all other vendors, never FE — it removes your only financial protection in case of non-delivery.
Check: verified account badge (PGP-verified), total completed transactions (100+ preferred), rating percentage (aim for 98%+), dispute resolution rate, time on market (older accounts are generally more trustworthy), detailed product descriptions with lab results where available, and community forum reputation. Avoid new vendors with no history for first orders.
TorZon sees your market account activity but does not know your real identity (which is why anonymous registration and XMR payments are essential). Order content in vendor-buyer messages should always be PGP-encrypted — TorZon's system only sees encrypted ciphertext. The market can see order totals and timing but not message content when PGP is properly used.
